BBC Interview

September 13th, 2013

The night I got out of Lyons after the flood, my phone rang and a woman with a British accent said, “hello, this is the BBC calling, are you with the Town of Lyons?”  I was in a bit of shock, but after talking with her for a few minutes, we made a plan for me to do a skype interview with them and upload the flood footage I took.  Here is the interview:

God, I’m aware that I’m writing this for September 11th, a day of great tragedy 12 years ago.  I remember writing about this with you in the past and asking how something like this could be Sacred.  I am still trying to understand this.

Yes My Love, even in tragedy, you can find the Sacred.  You are also given the opportunity to touch the Sacred within you.  For the Sacred is also found in your pain, loss, and sorrow.  And it is another expression of love.  The time right after Sept. 11th, you and so many others were touched and changed.  Many responded with great help and support to those directly affected.  Others showed up with greater caring and kindness for everyone in their lives, reminded of the precariousness of this existence.  Everything that happens calls forth an opportunity to awaken – to recognize what is Sacred.  Today the leaders of the world have decided to respond in a very different way than they did 11 years ago – even in the aftermath of another horrific tragedy.  This is the unfolding of awakening and it is a very Sacred process.

Love,
God”

Know What You Need to Know Now

July 16th, 2013

Journal Entry:  7/15/13

“When you feel stressed and wondering what to do, remember:  When you are connected with me, you will know what you need to know when you need to know it.   With this knowing, comes peace.  With this peace comes focus.  With focus comes clarity.  With clarity comes the answers you need to know right now.  So, remember to come to me first.”

Love, God.

Talk to God

June 18th, 2013

Today I had a long conversation with God in my Journal and asking how I can honor the gift I have been given.  I have been writing with God in my notebooks, and have written over a hundred conversations on canvas, but cost and space has limited my writing on canvas.  So today I was drawn to my White Board and this is the message that came through…

6/18/13

Good morning God.  It seems strange to write on a white board, but it’s cheaper than canvas.

Hello Love, This is great.  There is energy that flows more powerfully as you write with me in this way.  I know you are still afraid to share this writing, so you feel hesitant to let this flow.  But it is the path to your healing your fear of what others think about you.  The truth is:  you talk to God (me), I talk to you, and everyone can do this.  It’s not what I say that’s important.  It’s that I talk to you and everyone who listens (or not).

Yes, share this.  Love, God.

The Bond That’s Called Love

April 19th, 2013

I wrote this song about and for my family. There is some political references, but most of all it is about adoption and the greater meaning of family. Enjoy. Learning to Fly

February 11th, 2013

When I was a kid I used to fly radio controlled gliders with my Dad.  We flew them on the sod farms near Dansville Michigan on lazy summer days.  When I wasn’t chasing the highstart (the long rubber band we used to launch the gliders), I was laying on my back in the grass, flying my glider, watching the clouds and the occasional hawk that would join me, and dreaming of being up there with them.

It wasn’t too many years later that I heard that the Michigan State hang gliding club was offering lessons to the public.  I decided to check it out and learned to fly on the sand dunes of Lake Michigan.  I found that I love to fly and even a broken back in a hang gliding accident didn’t deter me.

After years of flying off the highest mountains and up to the clouds with just a Dacron wing and the breeze in my face, I decided to expand my experience of flying to real planes and began to pursue getting my power and glider licenses.

It was at this point that I stepped into learning what it takes to operate a piece of machinery within the context of aerodynamics, weather, airports, and the Federal Aviation Administration and all it’s rules and regulations.

The first flight I had with my flight instructor started with him talking me through taxiing our Cessna 172 to the end of the runway at the Albuquerque International Airport.  He then told me to push the throttle forward, steer with my feet until we reached 62 knots, and then told me to ease back on the yoke.  I then proceeded to fly the entire flight through landing – all from him coaching me through it.  Even though I had flown hang gliders for years, I felt exhilarated with a new and deeper experience of freedom and my own capabilities and possibilities.

Pilots see the world from a different perspective.  We know the clouds from learning which one’s we need to be concerned with and which one’s we don’t, and from experiencing them up close.  We see the world from above getting to know the paths of the rivers and the contours of land.  We dance with the wind, the movement up and down, and feel the exhilaration of being suspended in three dimensions knowing very concretely that our lives are completely in our own hands.  And we only know this from the experience of flying, from going there—from doing it.

I always thought I would become a flight instructor, but just as I was to embark on that training, life had a different plan for me.

I realize now that I am like a flight instructor in my work as a spiritual teacher.  I am teaching people how to live life from a Divine Perspective and take them there to experience it.   And this work is like flying as it is introducing you to who you are in this other dimension and how you can experience life from a new perspective.  Like flying, you can’t feel it until you have your hand on the stick, feet on the rudder, and wheels off the ground.  You cannot understand it until you do it.  Like learning to fly, it takes learning how to do it and requires practice to be proficient.

Living from this place is like knowing the intensity, exhilaration, and perspective of flying and knowing that our lives are completely in our own Divine hands.  And from here you realize that you have the power to go anywhere and do anything.

Entering into the The 4 Steps to Divine Mastery transformational program is like going to flight school.  You will learn about things that up to now have been unseen and, possibly not yet experienced by you.  You will see how we have been walking through life from the lies of the society, and how you can discover the truth.  You will learn how to connect to the Source within you so you can experience it for yourself.  You will be asked to practice to become proficient at it and make it your own.  And just like my pilot’s license, at the end of the course you will be proficient in and have a license to live a life in Divine Mastery that is yours forever.

Are you ready to learn to Live a Life of Divine Mastery?   I would love to help you get your wings!  Click here to see how to get started!

Living a God-Connected Life

October 29th, 2012

Someone recently told me that I have a gift for helping people experience God-connected moments.  I was happy to hear that as this is what I love to do.  I love to help people experience the joy, peace, clarity and profound love of God in as many moments as possible.  In fact, this is  my passion, my life’s calling.  Interestingly, I find myself hesitant to say this outright.  So today I wrote about this in my Journals with God and asked “What I am afraid of?” ”How I can do this better?”  Since I‘ve learned to have a direct conversation with God through my journals, I sat down with my questions to write. This is what I received:

Yes my love.  And you do have a sense of what this is.  It is the invitation to discover Me that is not clearly being offered.  I know that many people are turned off by the idea of or even the name, God.  But this is your name for Me and you teach the true definition of God that the ancient and enlightened teachers who understood the true nature of the Divine spoke of.  Even Jesus spoke of this God when you understand the truth.  This is what I am inviting you to teach and unlock.  You help people discover who God truly is – who they truly are and that they can talk to and hear the words of God – just like you do.  From here people can discover the truth within themselves and live the full and authentic lives they have come to live.  Diane, do not shy away from Me or My name.  You are afraid people won’t find you credible, yet they long for the connection you have with Me.  This is who needs you.  Once they find ME they can find joy and understanding in everything and know what they are called to do from a whole new level of consciousness.

It is really about helping people live a God-connected life?

Yes it is.  It is about finding the real God.  The God of pure love and joy and acceptance.  This is this God that wants to come alive on this earth through everyone.  The God of judgment and fear has a lot of followers – yet that is the lie and the liar.  So it is the invitation for people to discover this other God and bring Me forth.

Diane, I am asking you to be direct with your invitation and your language.  You are inviting people to discover and know ME.  To find Me within themselves and with this discovery. To channel the power of the Universe through them, helping to realize their dreams and heal the world.  I have given you the teachings and tools to help people to find Me and transform their lives.

Make the invitation clear.  There is nothing more important and profound.  Don’t beat around the bush.  Don’t try to water down your invitation for those who are not ready to accept Me, who aren’t looking for Me.  You help people who are looking for God to find Me.  It is that simple.

Love, God.

Can You Be Bought?

October 26th, 2012

They say that everything has a price.  I am writing this 11 days before a presidential election and seeing emails about special interest super PAC’s spending millions to get their messages into the world.  They must believe that our votes can be bought through buying and running ads purporting their views many times over.  This has made me think about a deeper question around why I (we) do what I (we) do, and where my (our) beliefs come from.

There was a point in my life about 10 years ago that I found myself confused, unhappy, and disillusioned and realized that I had spent most of my life looking outside of myself for who I should be, what I should do, and what I should think.   I had sold my self for my career; and I bought things, and carried opinions and beliefs that I thought would get me approval and belonging.  At this point of awakening, I realized that none of that worked to bring me happiness or security.

I realize that I had sold my soul to the whims of society and found that what I had become was bereft of meaning and authenticity.

It was at this point that I shifted my focus to asking myself “what is the truth, MY truth?”  I began to question everything and everyone.  I stopped believing anything on face value – especially my own thoughts.  I knew I had to “wake up” and look at everything from a new perspective.

From there I began to know myself and what I really believed (at least in that moment).  I began to ask what felt true about what I was observing in the world, and what did not seem true  – for me.  I began to know myself, my desires, and rebuilt a life based on that.

Don Miguel Ruiz and Don Jose Ruiz write about this in the 5th Agreement from the Book The 5th Agreement:   Be skeptical, but learn to listen.

“Wherever you go around the world, you will hear all kinds of opinions and stories from other people. You will find great storytellers wanting to tell you what you should do with your life: “You should do this, you should do that, you should do whatever.” Don’t believe them. Be skeptical but learn to listen and then make your choices. Be responsible for every choice you make in your life. This is your life; it’s nobody else’s life, and you will find that it’s nobody else’s business what you do with your life”.

The scary thing about all the money in politics is that the way things are, many people’s opinions can be bought.  It would be much fairer to have election laws that evened the playing field, but my real hope is that we can all wake up and see what is beyond the propaganda, look inside for what we know to be true and decide and declare that we can’t be bought.

How Do You Define Exraordinary Success?

September 28th, 2012

I continue to evaluate how I can communicate what I do more effectively to help people decide if my work is a good fit for them.  One of the fundamental rules of marketing is to describe what you do as a benefit to your market. The other is to focus on a niche.

I did that in my computer business.  I became an expert in auto body collision management software industry over my 18 year career (talk about a niche) where I helped small auto body shops save time and money running their business.  In that niche I gained skills and experience in sales and marketing, product management and a gazillion other things you learn through business ownership, courting investors and being acquired.  What I learned was it was good to niche, but it is better to do what you love with a niche that you are passionate about.

So after leaving a life of focusing on making money for me through saving money for my customers, I went into the world of service and environmental causes. I do know money is important, but I now know you can focus on both: doing things that improve our communities and our planet and being supported financially.  But even doing that, it is only truly successful when we include doing what we love.

From this I have gotten even clearer about describing who I work with and what they achieve:

I work with entrepreneurs who want to share their greatest gifts to make the world a better place, and help them achieve extraordinary success while they’re at it.

What is Extraordinary Success?

Definition of Extraordinary (websters)

a : going beyond what is usual, regular, or customary <extraordinary powers>
b
: exceptional to a very marked extent <extraordinary beauty>

Both of these definitions apply as I feel that extraordinary success is about stepping into something greater than what is easy and usual.  It’s easy to just follow the crowd, get a job, show up and do what you are told.  I know when I live in this way I may feel safe or content, but I don’t feel inspired.  It is about stepping into the unknown, tapping into the greater power we have within us and to experience the excitement of discovering our greater potential.

Definition of suc·cess  (Dictionary.com)
1.the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors.
2.the attainment of wealth, position, honors, or the like.
3. a successful performance or achievement: The play was an instant success.
4. a person or thing that is successful: She was a great success on the talk show.

There are many ways to look at success and I believe that our thoughts about success can actually define our experience of it.  I know many people who look at those who have attained wealth, position, or honors, with disdain as they judge it as bad for a myriad of reasons.  Some people think of those who have achieved success with their book or art as “lucky” and look at them with jealousy.  To some people success is a bad thing.  And I believe that those who have negative beliefs about success, struggle with their own “success” and maybe happiness.

I think the question about how we feel about success is comes through how we define success.  I used to define success through the achievement of my goal of selling my business and making a lot of money.  Now I define success much more broadly because for me success is defined as a way of living.

I define success as doing what I want to be doing most of the time, being healthy, having time for myself (God), my family and friends, and working on and completing projects that stretch me both creatively (spiritually), physically, and mentally.  I define success as knowing what and who I am and feeling at peace with that.  I define success as getting to offer my greatest gifts to lots of people and receiving compensation for the value they receive.

I define extraordinary success as the experience of living in a beautiful place that nurtures my heart, co-creating with the universe, manifesting miracles, having things turn out even better than I ever expected, meeting amazing and inspiring people, serving others, loving everyone, and being present with and in awe of this incredible life.

What is the Message?

September 13th, 2012

As much as I have been learning from these teachings coming through me, I continue to get answers that call me to shift my perspective.  Here is one from the Canvas Journals with God.

3/21/10

God, what is the message that I am to bring to the world now?

Hello my love.  You are the message.  Your life is the messenger.  You might think this is backwards, but the truth is who you are being speaks louder than what you are saying.  This is why I keep inviting you to Step 1.  Connect to Source.  This is the only thing that matters.  It is the only thing that will change the world.  Now you will see who you truly are.

Love, God.

This message points to Step 1 in the 4 Steps to Divine Mastery.  God has been asking me to remember to take this Step before I do anything else and the more I remember, the miraculous life is.

Sword of Love

September 11th, 2012

About 7 years ago I was out on my bike enjoying the scenery (which is where I have many of my conversations with God and others spiritual beings) when I heard a voice that I knew as the Christ Consciousness.  The voice said;  “Put down your sword.  When you hold up your sword to get what you want, you may get compliance, but you only gain distain, distrust, and fear.  It also perpetuates conflict, dishonesty and separation.  Instead, hold your sword with the blade down and stand in your true power – the power of Love.  As you engage with others say ‘I will love you no matter what’.   This is how you will elicit cooperation and communion, and heal the wounds of the past.  This is where you will experience the joy of the oneness that you are.”

As I received this message I realized that I did believe that I had to hold up a sword (energetically fight) to get what I wanted.  I could see that this the normal way that I and so many other people interacted in our society.  And I could see the image of the sword as shaming, blaming, criticizing, anger, dishonesty and fear.  As I questioned how to do this without giving everything away, I got the message that it was not about to rolling over and allowing others to take advantage of me, but for me to hold the sword as my power and the symbol of my unwavering commitment to Truth and Love.

I saw this image as the reminder to “Put down my Sword”.

Over the years I have had to continue to heal myself so I could stand up and hold the Sword of Love.  Sometimes I stand shaking and sometimes I stand strong.  But I have also seen the change in how others respond to me.  I now know that it is only through love that anything of value is created.

Right now I feel we all need to shift from our fearful (conflicted) interactions and consciously choose to stand with the Sword of Love even if it feels difficult.   I believe that each of us must do this to heal the pain of the past and find peace together now.

Awakening

September 5th, 2012

“Awakening is the process of realizing that you are more than your mind, body, experiences and circumstances.  Awakening is the recognition that you are a part of everything and made of everything.  From here you remember what and who you truly are and the authentic context of the reality in which you live.  And from here you can feel the pure love that lives within you and see your Soul’s true purpose here on earth.

Many people and religions have relegated Awakening, Enlightenment or Divine Experience to a chosen few or make it sound almost unattainable.  But the truth is you can awaken in a single moment and also fall back asleep in an instant.  The truth is you can choose to be awake more and more every day, shifting your perspective and experience of reality.

Some people have no choice as they have become so tired of the pain of being asleep that they spontaneously awaken.  Others receive glimpses of profound peace and joy from this realization, knowing that they want more.  This is how spiritual evolution is happening.  You don’t need to force the awakening in yourself and others, but you can choose it for yourself.  And this is the invitation that I am offering you.”

Love, God.
Journals with God 9-6-12

As I am watching what is happening in the world around me through the news, and through the discussions  in social media, I personally feel the pain of all the divisiveness.  So today in my meditations and journals with God, I focused on Step 1, Divine Realization; shifting into a higher consciousness. I was reminded that Awakening is the most important thing (I) we can do.  As I move into this level of consciousness, I again realize that everything is in perfect Divine Order and that I have been called to help others who want to Awaken.  It is from the Awakened state that there is love and acceptance, healing and forgiveness.  It is where we remember our reason for being here and our beautiful interconnectedness.

As God wrote to me in my Journals a few days ago:
“If you are in judgment, worry, or fear,
your Ego is trying to run the show.
Stop.
Shift your perspective until you are at peace, in love,
and open to all possibilities.
Then your actions will be Divine and your results will be miraculous.”

I’m here to help remind you of who you truly are and inspire you to choose to Awaken every day.  I am offering a complimentary consultation to those looking for support in this process. Allow me to assist you in creating your vision, exploring possibilities and making a plan to move forward.
