Good morning, God. I awoke today feeling like I had a sword in my hand and that I need to “do battle” to get done what I need to get done in the world today. As I thought of this I also saw my softer, loving self, as being ineffectual and unable to deal with the challenges I have before me. But, I’m tired of carrying my sword, so I’m here with you.
“Good morning my love. As you come to peace, you will feel your true power, and this is not from carrying the sword of coercion, but from carrying the sword of love. This is NOT about being complacent or allowing anyone to do anything they want, but about standing up and speaking the truth without judgement or fear. You know this when you are connected to me, and you also know that this is the ONLY way that you can be truly effectual.
