“You will play around in the illusion until you get tired of it.  You will dabble in metaphysics, self help, and/or religion until you find it is just seeking a different version of reality from your current level of consciousness. At some point something will knock you off your feet or bring you to your knees and you will ask with humility, now what?  And I will answer.  And you may hear me and ask me to help you.  Or, you may not believe that I have answered and dismiss me for a little longer.  But at some point you will decide you have had enough, and surrender what you thought was real for the truth beyond space and time.  And as you open to this knowing you will feel a level of peace and love like never before.  Now you know there is something more.  You will go back to what is familiar, but you can no longer claim ignorance.  You know there is something more and that it is up to you to choose it.  Are you ready to accept that responsibility?

Yes.  And I see the choice is in every moment of every day.  Choosing between being in judgement or compassion.  Deciding to react or respond from habitual constructs created by fear, or a from deeper place of knowing.  I’m done with the illusion.  I know too much.  And I am loving what I’m experiencing here, living in the truth beyond space and time.

Wow.  A beautiful soul I was recently working with received the message to be a “humble sponge”.  I loved this idea of just being and knowing that everything we need is brought to us like a sponge sitting in the ocean.  I then thought, but I don’t just want to be a sponge that is sitting still and just receiving, I must go and do something – be in service!  But then I realized, I have no idea how many hundreds or thousands or billions of organisms are nourished by and benefit from the life of a sponge.  I don’t think any of us know what the magnitude of the value in our “just being” truly is.

Yes.  I’m seeing more, feeling more, and am aware of where I’m still judging and afraid.  But from this new place, I know that they are but remnants of my old habits and beliefs.  From this new place, I am feeling the old patterns dissolve as soon as I recognize them.  I give them to God, and they are replaced with humility and love. I’m sorry for my judgment. I give it to you God.

They say that you can never “arrive”, but I feel like this knowing, this state of peace is a new place to be.  I am finding myself in a place of understanding this – a place of seeing that I am in choice around allowing things to rock me off my foundation or not.  I am feeling a greater level of confidence and fearlessness from life.  I am quiet.  And in the quiet I do know what all is well.

A friend just sent me an article on Ho’oponopono, a Hawaiian healing process, and a therapist that healed an entire ward of mentally ill people, by just focusing on healing himself and sending love to his patients.  I know that all those who are acting out in the world are just needing love.  And the more I am healing myself the more capacity I have to love, even in the face of what does not feel easy to love.

“As you awaken into your true self, you will discover that what is truly yours is awaiting you.  All that is required is for you to become clear on what that is, and claim it.  The greatest things, experiences, and relationships are available to you.  If you don’t feel like you have them, it is only that you haven’t asked for them.  How do you do this?  Just ask yourself what your greatest desires are, without judgement or limitation.  Be open and accepting of your Self – your truth.  Anything and everything is possible.  Now, it is up to you to choose.

I have spent a lot of years either chasing after things to make me happy, or feeling like I shouldn’t want anything to make me happy because “I’m spiritual”.   But, living on earth includes the material as well as the ethereal.  In all cases, I was seeking happiness and peace, but what is different is the level of consciousness in which the desires come from.  As I attracted things from fear, hoping it would squelch the fear, nothing seemed to make me happy.  But as I focus on truly knowing my Self, what I desire comes from a place of peace and has a much higher vibrational quality that is in support of creativity and joy.  I’m asking again and again, what is the truth?  I have experienced over and over in my life the truth of “be careful what you ask for, as you just might get it”.  My experience has been:  I always get it.  So, now, I’m being careful and clear and asking for and choosing the most incredible dreams I can imagine… Much is happening in miraculous ways.  And I’m excited to see what happens next.

Wow.  I am experiencing this.  Miracles are abounding, and the more I let go, the more I am seeing them.  This is getting easier every day.  I’m focusing on what I want to create by focusing on creating it within me.  Focusing on doing what is in my integrity, and allowing the results to be what they will.  I am seeing a few places that I didn’t have to do anything but pray for the highest good. With this, I’m watching it all unfold in more beautiful ways that I could have imagined.

I know this! I do live here so much of the time.  My painting, my music, relationships and work – seeing things just fall into place – all feels like another realm, like I’m being given it all.  And the more I surrender to God, the more this is becoming my reality.  Hmmmmm.  Maybe all this isn’t a fantasy.  Maybe the that other world of fear and limitation really is.  I’m learning….

“Celebrate every ending – every completion!  In the world of good and bad, you have a tendency to see endings as bad.  But things must end, cycles complete, and destruction must happen for new creation to emerge.  Grief is a normal human response, but detach from the judgement of good or bad, for you don’t know the truth behind why things change.  Remember, nothing of value is ever lost…  as it may just show up again in a whole new and even more splendid way.  But you must let go of what it was to receive it.

This will make space for what wants to flow through you now from who you are now.  You are no longer the one who created your life in the past.  Step into the greatest version of your Self.  Let this One show you the way.

As I meditate on this, I feel at peace with all the changes.  I feel more opening with all the completions.  I have a new realization that as this powerful and connected one, I am capable of being successful, that I am worthy of receiving and creating what I want!  I am noticing a lack of doubt, which I see now was lurking in the shadows for most of my life.  Wow.  I’m seeing more possibilities without fear or resistance.  This is all new because I am all new.  I embrace this awareness – this new version of me.

Over the holidays I completed this paining.  It is a commission that I started around September 1st, 2013.  A little bit has happened in this past 16 months.  The painting is called Perseverance as the depiction of growing and thriving from a place that may seem difficult, but ultimately from our most solid foundation.  As I looked up the definition, I also learned something I did not know, that perseverance also means following Divine Grace.  So, here’s to perseverance.

I’m laughing now as this is similar to what was said throughout the movie, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, “Everything will be alright in the end.  If it is not alright, it is not the end” (great movie, by the way).  I got some news today that a huge change that I thought was happening, which I had accepted as a new (and sad) reality, isn’t happening as thought.  I guess, I have another lesson in the danger of setting expectations, and thinking.  Another lesson in trust and knowing that what things look like now, can always change – and usually do.  Another lesson in knowing that everything does work out, and will be alright.  And from here, to know that it is working out, and is all right, even as it is still unfolding right now.  Reminding me to be at peace knowing that everything is working out for the best for all as it is Divine hands.

“Follow your Joy!  Today, focus on what brings you joy.  This shows you what you need to be focusing on from your soul’s (My) perspective.  Let everything else go by without resistance or distraction like water going around a rock.  Joy is the feeling of your Soul’s desires for you and with you.  You do not know your joy when you become lost in focusing on what you think you want and should do from a disconnected level of consciousness.  But as you let everything go you allow the truth to emerge.  And the joy of being alive is for you to know and claim.  As always, it is up to you.

I must say that I have been moving into a place of powerful peace after all the healing work I have done and am becoming aware of what feels joyful – almost for the first time in years.  I had always reacted negatively to people who would say:  “follow your bliss!”, or “follow your joy !”  For when I was depressed and medicated I could not even imagine joy or bliss.  I just wanted to stop hurting.  But here I am – not hurting and feeling peace, love and support – from God, from Me and from life.  So today (and every day), I will focus on following my joy and claim the life I have come to live from the depths of my soul.
