Good afternoon God and everyone.  Today feels like a new day.  A new life.  This past weekend had many events commemorating/recognizing the one-year anniversary of the flood.  I spent time with my community and shared my song, Higher Ground, at the final event.  I feel like a cycle has been completed, and it is time to move on into the next.  My internal world and focus is shifting.  I feel ready to step boldly into this next chapter. 

“Good afternoon my love.  It is good to recognize and honor what has happened, and by taking this moment of honoring this significant event, you can feel some completion and move on.  It is another step.  One thing you might notice is that it is all steps.  Some a larger than others, but growth and change is iterative.  So, focus on what is before you, honoring all of what is behind you, and enjoy the wonder and miraculousness of life.  And know that each day brings new opportunities to take another step into who you are becoming.
