Good morning, God. I was reading what you wrote about Divine Selfishness in Your Sacred Journey Home course materials. It made me think about how I can be “selfish” and loving at the same time. Again, what I struggle with is living in a world where “being selfish” (there is no positive word for honoring self in the English language) is bad.
“Good morning, my love. Self honoring is loving. If you can’t get to loving your Self, then start with the idea of loving Me. For it is honoring the desires of your soul that allows you to connect to the infinite love of the universe and naturally love and care for everyone and everything. Love is never exclusive – just as hate or indifference – is not exclusive. If you have disdain for yourself or anyone then you have it for everyone. If you have only love in your heart then this love will extend the grow and create and you will know that this is all there is. Yes you live in a world where there judgement and fear. This is why you asked me to come. Now I am asking you to love everyone and everything – beginning with yourself. You don’t need to struggle any more. Come deeper into the love that lives within you and remember that this is all there is.

As a follow-up, I have just read some of A Course in Miracles – and it says exactly what you wrote here. I guess I really needed to hear this today.
