Good morning God. Yesterday I explored my “need to be seen” as I rode my bike up the mountain. I could see the subtle (and not so subtle) truth to that – even as I also truly want to serve. I can see this need in just about everyone as well. Yet it must be the ego, because I know my soul has no needs. I continue to ask myself what I would do or care about if I didn’t have a need to be seen. The answer to this was nothing less than complete freedom and peace. Oh, and thank you for the gourmet lunch you provided at the top of the mountain when I was starving and had forgotten to bring some food!*
“Good morning my love. Wow, you made some beautiful strides in this exploration! Like your painting, your bike is a place you find your Self and bring your body and mind into alignment. There is a realization here for you to see – if you decide that you need nothing, then you make room for Me to bring you everything you could possibly want and need – beyond your wildest dreams. So, are you willing to give up the ego’s (the world’s) limited desires, for my infinite possibilities and magnificent gifts?
Yes!

*A note about the ride and the lunch. I had a schedule change, so I had some time to do some self care. I decided to take a bike ride up the mountain from my house as I’m training for a Century ride in September. I didn’t know how far I would go, then about half way up I decided to ride to Raymond where there is a store and I could get something to eat, as I was also getting hungry. When I was almost there, I realized I was really hungry and starting to bonk. When I got there, the store was closed, but in the parking lot was a bike tour van with an incredible spread of food for the people on the tour. They said hello to me and invited me to join them! It was one of the best lunches I’ve had in years! There were also some racers from the recent Colorado pro bike race and some very cool people to talk to. In the middle of no-where. It did seem quite miraculous.
